20 Years of Excellence
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the TOP TIER™ Approved Fuels Program, an initiative that has reshaped the landscape of fuel detergency standards and clean engine vehicle performance since its inception. Collaboratively introduced in 2004 by General Motors, BMW, Toyota, and Honda, TOP TIER™ Approved Gasoline and Diesel have become synonymous with exceptional fuel quality and engine care. Now, they are joined by eight more leading auto manufacturers including Audi, Daimler Truck, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Navistar, Stellantis, Subaru of America, and Volkswagen.
Enrollment in this online directory is optional for TOP TIER™ Authorized Suppliers. There are additional TOP TIER™ Authorized Suppliers throughout North America and in some Central and South American countries. A searchable list of all TOP TIER™ licensed brands, sorted by brand and country, is available.
Licensed TOP TIER™ Gasoline Retailers must adhere to the rigorous fuel detergency performance requirements. Be assured, the performance standard applies to all octane grades sold in each of the retail outlets, even if a TOP TIER™ Approved Gasoline sticker is not found on the pump. Please contact us if no pump sticker is found on licensed brands.
