TOP TIER™ Announces New TOP TIER™+ Standard

TOP TIER™+ is an evolution of the TOP TIER™ standard, extending the benefits of TOP TIER™ to today’s Gasoline Direct Injection engines, while retaining the existing benefits for traditional engines. TOP TIER™+ is rolling out to stations across the US. Many fuel brands are in the process of converting their stations.  

We are pleased to share that bp and Amoco gasolines are certified TOP TIER+. bp and Amoco’s long-standing Invigorate® additive underwent the testing for the Plus gasoline standard and passed, extending the benefits of TOP TIER™ to more vehicles than ever before. Drivers can now look out for new TOP TIER™+ decals rolling out across their network of more than 7,500 bp and Amoco retail sites.

We are working on updates to the website and Station Finder App that will identify brands with the Plus standard. Once a brand is fully converted to TOP TIER+ and the brand is ready to announce its status update, we will update their stations on both the website and app. Currently, Amoco, bp and Costco are the national brands that have announced they are TOP TIER™+.

The TOP TIER™ Station Finder app is the best way to identify whether a station is TOP TIER™ approved.
